Current Issue: Alley-to-Curb Service Changes

Keep Alley Trash Organized Neighborhood Initiative
In August 2025 WHHA was contacted by the Hockaday Neighborhood Association, spearheaded by Connie P. Campbell, to share information about the Dallas Department of Sanitation’s plan to abandon weekly trash collection in Dallas alleys. This decision will affect more than 30,000 total residents, and likely some within the WHHA neighborhood. They have created the movement called Keep Alley Trash which is an effort to reverse/revise the sanitation department’s proposal. Click here to go to their website for the most current information:
