If you have a code compliance issue, this page will provide you with the information you need to report it to the city. Residents must report their own code compliance issues, and get a Service Request Number.
Residents can file a code compliance complaint by either calling 311 and speaking with an individual, or by filing the report online on the Dallas City Hall website. Either way, remember to get your Service Request number and document it somewhere for future reference. Residents will need the Service Request Number any time they call to find out the status of the case; that is how the city representative will look the case up. So don’t lose your Service Request Number!

Once on the page, you can scroll down to where it says How to Report a Code Violation and click the box that says Report Code Violations. Follow the instructions from there. Or you can click the Report tab in the black menu bar in the middle of the page and file your claim.
