WHHA Annual Neighborhood Meetings
WHHA hosts an annual meeting for the entire once every year. In the last 2 years, the annual meeting agenda included the following:
- Presentation of WHHA Board members and motion to approve Board
- Acknowledgement of thanks to departing Board members
- Summary of primary activities and accomplishments for the previous year
- Neighborhood votes on any relevant topics
- Presentation by the Crime Watch ENP Coordinator
- Introduction of DPD officers representing our district and our ENP
- Question and answer session with ENP officers and Neighborhood Police Officer
- Update from City Councilperson including discussion of items requested by WHHA members
- Question and answer session with the Councilperson
- Treasurer’s Report and discussion of current status of WHHA finances
- Questions and answers
All members are encouraged to attend the annual meeting. Notice signs for the meeting are posted throughout the neighborhood for about one month. Announcements of the meeting are emailed to all active members of WHHA one month prior to the meeting, and a reminder email is sent out a week before the meeting. Active members are persons whose household has paid the WHHA annual dues for the current year. Residents who are not active can still attend the meeting; they just will not receive an invitation by email. You must be an active member of WHHA to be on the WHHA email distribution list.
